Before my friend Martin left our little island, he hired me to snap a few photos of him to document his time in Okinawa.

Shu Lan was an incredible photographer to work with. Creative, directive yet flexible, visionary and totally fun! I really enjoyed this little adventure with her. Highly recommended for any kind of shoot. Whether you want to add to a portfolio, indulge your little desire to feel beautiful, or capture your youth and memories, Shu Lan will know just what you need. She’s a pro!

Okinawa, Japan is one of the most beautiful places in the world.  Here are a few attempts to capture that beauty and rich culture.

Here are a few portraits of some ridiculously beautiful people in my life.

Shu, looks good… the pictures bring back memories!

Baan Dada

In December of 2007, I went with a volunteer group, called GoMad, to help at an orphanage in Sangklaburi, Kanchanaburi, Thailand.  The experience was inspiring.  In the week that I was there I mainly worked at Baan Dada but I was lucky enough to meet the kids of Baan Unrak Orphanage and the people of Piloki Village, who are trying to jump start their home stay tourism program to generate stable income for their village.  Here are just a few photos of the two orphanages and the village, as well as an impromptu photo shoot with some of the girls in Sangklaburi who came to Baan Dada’s Christmas celebration.  I am sharing these photos even though they are old because my time at Baan Dada is truly one of my most treasured life memories.  If you would like to know more about Baan Dada or would like to make a donation please go to
